PRB issues "St. Ascension Noul Neamţ Monastery" coin

The coin does not contain precious metals (nickel coated steel) and is the first in the series of coins "Orthodox Monasteries of Pridnestrovie" issued by Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank (PRB)

The nominal value of the coin is one rouble, reports the PRB public relations department.

The commemorative coin made of base metals is a currency unit of Pridnestrovie's Republican Bank, a legal tender in the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and must be accepted at its nominal value.

The mintage - 50,000 pieces. Obverse: at the centre - image of the national emblem of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic; at the top circle wise - "Приднестровский республиканский банк" (Republican Bank of Pridnestrovie), at the foot - year of issue "2014"; under the national emblem - nominal value "1 рубль" (one rouble).

Reverse: at the centre - depiction of the monastery, above it - “1864-2014 г.г.”, at the top circle wise - "Свято-Вознесенский Ново-Нямецкий монастырь" (St. Ascension Noul Neamţ Monastery).
