Healthcare minister: Pridnestrovie's public health record no worse than in neighbouring countries

This points to a rather high and qualitative level of healthcare provided in Pridnestrovie

The Healthcare Ministry analyses the information provided by the regions and cities of the republic and forms the full picture of the nation's health, said Pridnestrovie's healthcare minister, Tatyana Skrypnik, in an interview to Pridnestrovie's First Channel.

"When compared to our neighbours - Ukraine, Russia and Moldova - there is a clear understanding that our nation's health record is not worse," underscored the minister.

As an example she mentioned the republic’s highest rate of children's immunisation coverage in Kamenka. This rate is even higher than in Ukraine. "Today Pridnestrovie does not face the risk of spreading infectious diseases," noted Tatyana Skrypnik.

The minister expressed gratitude to all healthcare workers for providing medical assistance on a rather high and qualitative level even under such difficult circumstances. "This can be gauged from the public health record," she concluded.
