Tatyana Turanskaya: Rogozin-Shevchuk Protocol is really comprehensive

The agreements have already facilitated administrative procedures for supplying Pridnestrovian goods to the Russian Federation and increased volumes of trade with Russia

This was stated by the chairwoman of the government in the "From the First Person" live programme on Pridnestrovie's First Channel.

On 11 November Russia's Government House hosted the ceremony of signing five memorandums on inter-agency cooperation between the federal government of the Russian President and Pridnestrovie's authorities in the spheres of healthcare, finance, telecommunications and mass media, and protection of consumers' rights.

According to Tatyana Turanskaya, from now on Pridnestrovie will work in these spheres in close association with the Russian colleagues.

"The agreements have been concluded to supplement the Protocol signed after the meeting of Pridnestrovian President Yevgeny Shevchuk and Russia's deputy prime minister and special envoy of the Russian president on Pridnestrovie, Dmitri Rogozin in October 2013. The Protocol has established legal grounds and basic directions for enhancing inter-agency cooperation between two states on a wide range of issues of mutual interest," said the head of the government.

It is to be recalled that in July, August and September Pridnestrovie and Russia signed a number of memorandums on inter-agency cooperation in the spheres of trade and economy, anti-monopoly regulation, transportation and road facilities, education and culture, supervisory activities and agriculture. In September the memorandum on trade and economic and humanitarian cooperation was signed between the governments of Pridnestrovie and the Arkhangelsk region, Russia.

According to the chairwoman, the Rogozin-Shevchuk Protocol is really comprehensive, and the cooperation with Russia is strengthening today. In particular, the agreements have already facilitated administrative procedures for supplying Pridnestrovian goods to the Russian Federation and increased volumes of trade with Russia.
