The plant will be constructed by an Italian company

ValeriyZemlyakov, a deputy chairman of the City Council: "The plant is up-to-date, capable of recycling 250 m3 of solid domestic waste per day. It is even a bit more than Tiraspol produces today. Besides, there's an advantage - recycling is accompanied by power generation."
The project costs 16 million EUR. Under the terms of the investor, the city should also participate in the co-financing of the construction. The city's contribution is 15% (more than 2 million EUR).
We proposed our partners our property as a contribution - the enterprise on which territory the plant will be constructed (motor-transport depot 4). Today it is used for sorting household refuse. We have to determine the estimated balance value of the object to contribute to the pant construction," said ValeriyZemlyakov.
Determining the estimated balance value requires additional funds. By the decision of the City Council, the necessary sum of money will be allocated from the municipal budget. According to them, the plant construction will allow saving money in the future as there is no need to build a solid domestic waste landfill
