Tiraspol, November, 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On November 30 in all regions of Russia and forty-five countries of the world there will be conducted voluntary testing on the national history. Test writing sites will be opened in Pridnestrovie - you can test your knowledge on the basis of the State University on the last Friday of November at 10 a.m. (the building and the audience are now being determined). Anyone can send the applications and questions to the organizing committee e-mail test-istoria@yandex.ru.
The international patriotic action “Test on the national history” has been held for the third year in a row. It is organized by the Youth Parliament at the Russian Federation State Duma.
Test participants are invited to answer 40 questions in 40 minutes, choosing the correct answer from four options. By the way, the questions were prepared by the Military University of the Russia Ministry of Defense. How complex they are can be judged by the results of previous years. In 2017 compatriots answered correctly only half of the test questions.
This time the main topic will be the Constitution of Russia, which celebrates the 25th anniversary, the history of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and the role of the individual in history.
In April of this year, the action “Test on Great Patriotic War history” was held in 34 countries, gathering half a million participants at 7.5 thousand sites. But, to organizers` great regret, the patriotic project still remains little known to the people, unlike “Total dictation” action.
“Knowledge of our national history, along with knowledge of the Russian language, forms the Russian identity, which we lack so much these days, and no consumer ideology that captures the minds of young people in the past couple of decades can make Russia truly great” - Peter Tolstoy, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly, stressed during the press conferences at TASS, announcing the draft.
In recent years, public events associated with voluntary testing of knowledge have gained great popularity in Russia and among compatriots living in other countries. For several years now, Pridnestrovians have been active participants in the actions “Total dictation” and “Geographical dictation”, which this year have been written on more than three thousand sites in almost a hundred countries of the world.
